Uncommonly shaped, relatively small mountain species with a large sucker-mouth, elongate body and round caudal fin. Its huge eyes are a very distinct trait. Brown coloration with few light-colored spots on the top of the head and before the dorsal fin. Fins with light-colored dots, caudal fin with a light-colored seam.
