References
Seidel, (2025);
L 532 is a beautifully colored blackish gray species with a wider body. It may assume a greenish hue, depending on its mood and the light. It has white, sometimes yellowish, circular spots, which contrast brillantly against the dark ground. The abdomen is dark, and also covered in light-colored spots. The fins are mostly without spots. Black stain on the membrane of the dorsal fin just behind the base of the first ray. The caudal fin of the juveniles has a white seam. Males have strong antlers formed by tentacles, most of them branching.
