Evers, (2018);
The flat-bodied L 511 with its huge sucker-mouth is perfectly adapted to life in rapidly flowing mountain streams. Its teeth are those of a limnivore. Around 4 inches long Ancistrus with plain light brown colors and light blue eyes. Even obviously adult males only have short tentacles around the snout. Whether they grow longer ones during spawning season is unknown, Like Ancistrus greeni, this catfish has a long carina in front of the adipose fin, formed by bony plates.
