References
Lechner, (2009);
L 423 is a small fawn brown bristlenose catfish with rather small light-colored spots and dots. Those on the head have a greenish shimmer, those on the back of the body are hardly visible and tend to blend into the basic color. The spotted pattern in the fins is blurry. The reddish brown seams in the unpaired fins are a special trait. In the 2.8 inches long specimen depicted, the seams in the dorsal fin start fading.
