Uncommon Ancistrus with an extremely slender body and different spotted patterns on the front and back. In front, it has clearly distinguishable white dots, which grow larger and washed-out towards the back. In display coloration, the eyes are reddish. The tentacles of the males are comparatively thin, short and hardly branching.
